Steve ... Nancy and Pam are looking down and smiling now, free from worry, illness and stress. She will be missed but you have millions of memories from which you can draw support through this difficult time. Much love and many, many prayers from the Christoferson family.

I'm heartbroken to hear of Nancy's passing. She was a light in this world. Nancy and I worked together for close to 10 years at Lauren and she was an amazing boss and co-worker.... without a doubt one of the kindest and most sincere individuals I have ever known. Steve, my prayers are with you and the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Jody Lee

When preparing words for Nancy’s obituary, Steven asked “how do you capture a life of love, humor and giving?” While I’m not sure there is an answer to that question, I do know that Nancy stepped up to life even when life seemed unfair and did so with faith, humility and more often than not, a good laugh.
So many attributes come to mind when I think of Nancy, but prepared is one that springs to the forefront. She seemed ready for anything knowing what to do, what to say and what to bring on any given occasion. Like the time her and Steven drove 4 hours to Austin just so I didn’t have to spend the first night alone in my newly purchased home. Didn’t bother them that I had not a stick of furniture; they showed up with lawn chairs and blow-up mattresses. You should have seen, and heard, Nancy and I trying to air those mattresses up in the driveway about 10:30 at night using an air compressor plugged into the car cigarette lighter. I’m sure the neighbors were just a little worried about who moved in next door.
Several people have commented that the room lit up when Nancy walked in and I for one must agree, because this world grew just a little bit dimmer when she left it.

Ms. Nancy to me will always be the quintessential Texas woman, so beautiful and strong, who lived and loved deeply and fiercely, positively an unbridled force of nature all her own. May she rest in peace in loving arms now, as pray do we all who loved her.
