William Lonnie Lofton

William "Will" Lofton, 39, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at an Abilene medical center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Rev. Donny Harbers will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Will was born December 24, 1974 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Stephen and Billie Ann (Smith) Lofton. He graduated from Cooper High School. Will worked as a Line Operator for Bandag for 11 years. He married Amy Duffee on May 24, 1998 in Abilene. He was a member of Southwest Park Baptist Church. Will enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. He was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen C. Lofton, Jr. Will is survived by his parents, Stephen and Billie Ann Lofton; his wife, Amy Lofton; his four children, Debra, Lane, Luke and Lily Lofton, all of Abilene; one brother, Scott Lofton and wife Kim of Spotsylvania, Virginia; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials may be made to the West Texas Rehab Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, TX 79605.
