Bryson Young

Wesley "Bryson" Young, 30, of Abilene, TX passed away on February 1st, 2024, in Borger, TX.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Stamford, TX, with Kelly Jay officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Wesley was born in Abilene, TX to Sharon Denice Young Strickland and Wesley Strickland on April 17th,1993. He graduated from Paint Creek High School. He married Lynna Billington Young on September 17th, 2022, in Clyde, TX. Wesley worked as a Construction Tech Splicer for Kinetic Windstream, and was a former Texas Department of Transportation Special Jobs Employee. He loved cooking out on the grill, and spending time with a host of family and friends. He was a former coach for youth sports in Abilene, Tx, and a dear friend to all.

Wesley was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Kenneth and Ann Young, Great Aunt Linda Fulgham, and Uncle Rocky Young,

Wesley is survived by his wife Lynna Young, and son Jacob Young. Parents Wesley and Denice Strickland, Brother Tyler Strickland, Honorary Brother and longtime friend Clint Howard, Uncle Travis Young, Aunt Tamara Young Bell, Grandparents David Jim and Deborah Strickland, Grandparent Carla Young, and numerous cousins.
