Virginia Dutton, 75, of Hawley, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Hawley. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 13, 1938, Virginia was the daughter of Eldina (Lent) and George Stephens. She married Billy Dutton, Sr. on October 12, 1958 in Murtaugh, Idaho. She was a homemaker. God, family and faith were very important to her. She was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Dutton; her parents; and all of her siblings, Frederick, Grant, Martin, Garth, Howard, Francis and Donna. Virginia is survived by her husband, Billy Dutton, Sr. of Hawley; son, Billy Dutton, Jr. and wife Middy of Aztec, New Mexico; daughter, Joy Garrard and husband Frank of Hawley; three grandchildren, Tom Dutton, Amanda Shaner and husband James, and Jason Garrard; two great-grandchildren, Lily Shaner and Desiree Shaner; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Memorials may be made in honor of Virginia Dutton to Cancer Services Network, 100 Chestnut, Suite 100, Abilene, TX 79602.
