Tyler Heath Rickman, 21 of Abilene, Texas passed away Wednesday March 18, 2020 at his home in Abilene.
Visitation took place on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home located at 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd in Abilene, TX. A celebration of life/memorial will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements are with The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
Tyler was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to his parents Heath Rickman and Jackie Rae Rickman on September 17, 1998 at FE Warren AFB. He attended Wylie Elementary - (2 years in Mount Juliet, Tennessee grade school) and back to Wylie Intermediate, Jr. High & High School graduating in 2017. He was employed as a rebar fabricator for A-1 Building Supply Company in Abilene, TX where he learned and excelled at his craft, that he loved greatly.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather, Drew Rickman.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Heath Rickman (Crystal Rickman) of San Antonio, TX and Jackie Rickman-Davis (Jeff Davis) of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Taylor Rae Rickman, Las Vegas, NV and Tori Peyton Rickman, San Antonio, TX; grandparents, Dorothy Valdez, Alamogordo, NM; Lucy Rickman of Ackerly, TX; Larry Valdez of Alamogordo, NM; Sharon Hancock of Abilene, TX; Charles McDonald (Lori) of Manchester, TN.
Tyler had a great passion for sports, specifically playing baseball and his love of the LA Dodgers. Tyler was an exceptional athlete, a natural at baseball, basketball & football.
He had a generous, loving heart and gladly helped anyone in need. His great, big, beautiful smile was contagious and through his hugs you knew you were loved. He was a joy to all, a wonderful son, grandson, brother, & friend. Tyler was special and loved by all - he was one of a kind. He touched many lives. Tyler will be missed greatly.
