Tracy Marie Rowlett, 88, of Abilene, passed away on March 1st, 2016 in McKinney, TX.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 pm Friday, March 4th, 2016 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, March 4th, at the funeral home immediately following visitation.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Matthiesen of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.
Tracy was born in Byers, TX to Barney Dan and Mary Fenoglio on March 1st, 1928. She graduated from Henrietta High School. She was a longtime sales associate with Fashion Lane in Abilene until its closing. She retired from Family Planning of Abilene as the Business Office Manager. She was a beloved volunteer of Hospice of Abilene, TX. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Up until her death, she was the residing President of the Residents Association at Baybrooke Village Care and Rehabilitation Center in McKinney, TX.
Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.
Tracy is survived by her Daughter - Deborah Kight and her husband Ron of Prosper, TX; Sisters - Wanell Shaw of Abilene, TX and Mary Ellen Maddox and her husband Randi of Henrietta, TX; Grandchildren - Al Briscoe and his wife Pim of Thailand and his children: Peyton, Storme and Tyler; Aaron Whitley and his wife Wendi of Prosper, TX and their children: Cade, Carson, Coen and Caylin; Amy Whitley of Frisco, TX and her children: Whitney, Lawson and Levi; and 3 Great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randi Maddox, Ron Kight, Dan Maddox, Scott Cordell, Jason Ferguson and Cade Whitley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory Street, Abilene, TX 79601.
