Clay Kelley

Clay Kelley, 49 of Abilene, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 8th in Abilene, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2023 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Clay was born in Abilene, Texas to Vickie Faulks Pelton and Timothy Jack Kelley on May 31, 1974. He attended school at Wylie High School in Abilene, where he loved playing basketball and graduated in 1993. Clay also loved being outdoors and enjoyed playing inter-collegiate soccer, skiing in the lake, or the mountains, and spending time at the beach. He was an accomplished Salesman and had a passionate and caring heart for all those he met. Clay will always be remembered by the family, and friends alike for the kindness, friendship, and "heart of gold".

Clay was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Jean Faulks, and Jack and Rosa Lee Kelley.

Clay is survived by his parents, Vickie Faulks Pelton and Timothy Jack Kelley, sister Shelly Morris, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Clay's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the many Doctors and Nurses at Hendrick South and to the compassionate Doctors and Nurses at Hendrick Hospice Care who so selflessly devoted their time and love to Clay and our family during his stay.

Clay will be sadly missed but will always hold a special place in our hearts and in all who knew him.
