Thomas Rorrison

MCPO Thomas Rorrison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, at his home in Abilene, Texas. Master Chief Rorrison has shipped out for his final voyage, there will be no return or homecoming at the dock for the family like so many times before. He passed one day after Veterans Day, very fitting for someone who served for 30 years and loved the Navy and The United States of America.

Master Chief is reunited in Heaven with his wife of more than 50 years, Felicisima C Rorrison. He is survived by his children, Carol Marcy and her husband Bill, Ann Willis and her husband Kelly, Susan Lemyre and her husband Bob, Mary Duncan, and Raymond Rorrison. One of their many great accomplishments boasts 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Thomas Rorrison was born in Cook County, Illinois to James Hedley Rorrison and Dorothy Harrowell. He is survived by his sister, Francis Madison and her husband Paul. His sisters Nancy and Jean have since passed. Thomas's stepfather, Leonord Foedisch has also since passed – he taught Thomas carpentry and was a positive influence in his life.

There will be no Funeral Service, final wishes for cremation and to have his ashes joined with his wife Felicisima in Noxon, Montana on a special resting place pre-determined by Thomas.
