Thomas Archie Reynolds

Thomas Archie Reynolds, 78, died Monday, June 29, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Harvest Baptist Church, 1389 Vine Street, with Pastor Roy Meksch officiating. Burial will follow in Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene with full military honors. Born in Mandan, North Dakota on November 12, 1936, Thomas was the son of the late Rose (Wetch) and Archie Reynolds. He married Marguerite McDermott on December 3, 1958. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a machinist. In August of 2003, he moved from San Diego, California to Abilene, where he was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, his mother and father, and many siblings. Thomas is survived by six children, Sharon Coonan and husband Keven of Anderson, CA, Karen Korman of Longmont, CO, Donna Oblinger and husband Lou of South Bend, Indiana, Tim Reynolds of Corpus Christi, TX, Debi Cravens and husband Mark of San Diego, CA, and Kim Sibley and husband Don of Abilene; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
