Terri Lyn Wheat

Terri Lyn Wheat, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at her residence in Abilene. The daughter of Berta “Pete” (Selman) and Bob Runnels, Terri was born on October 31, 1955 in Abilene, Texas, where she graduated from Abilene High School. She married Robert Dennis Wheat on December 12, 1986 in Abilene and was a homemaker. Terri Lyn is survived by her husband Robert Wheat of Abilene; son John Hollar and wife Dara of Abilene; daughter Heather Sharp and husband Joey of Clyde, Texas; three brothers, Gary Runnels and wife Sandy of Buffalo Gap, Texas, and Kenneth Runnels and Duncan Robinson, III both of Abilene; and eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 4, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. No services are planned.
