Terry Pringle, 73, of Abilene, passed from this life on December 5th, 2020.
Following his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. He will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered by his family per his direction.
Terry was born in Jackson, Mississippi to Charles and Wanda Pringle on November 5th, 1947. He graduated from Silsbee High School and Texas A&I University (now part of Texas A&M) in Kingsville, Texas. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in several industries over the years—from Employers Insurance to Zachry Associates—but he would like to be remembered foremost as a writer. He was a published author of numerous books. He was an amateur photographer and avid target shooter—and deserves recognition for attending all of his wife's many piano recitals.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Pringle; his parents; and his brother, Richard Pringle.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Wallace Pringle; his son, Michael Pringle of Macon, Georgia; his sister, Denise Berry of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his brother, Dr. Charles Pringle of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
