Tatsuko Ishii MacDougall

Tatsuko Ishii MacDougall, 80, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born November 18, 1928 in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan to Kiyoshi Fujii and Ayako (Ishii) Fujii. In 1944, she graduated from Nursing School in Japan. In March of 1964, Tatsuko entered the United States and in September of 1966 became a United States Citizen. She worked as a Nurse at the Abilene State School, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Tatsuko's parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Robert MacDougall, Jr. of Abilene; one brother, Tadashi Ishii, of Japan; two sisters, Yoshie Yokoyoyamma and Shizuka Toyoda, of Japan; and one grandson, Matthew MacDougall.
