Tammy Jo Colyer

Tammy Jo Colyer, 45, of Hawley, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at an Abilene medical center. The daughter of Lottie (Quimby) and William Jamar, Tammy was born on August 29, 1965, in Montpelier, Vermont. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Morris Quimby and Charlotte Quimby, and paternal grandparents, Richard Jamar and Odean Jamar. Tammy is survived by her sons, Eric Cooley of Abilene and Ryan Cooley and wife Joanne of Arlington; daughter, Jessica Cooley of Abilene; grandson, Brayden Lowe; and granddaughter, Hailey Lowe. Survivors also include her parents, William and Lottie Jamar of Hawley; brother, Tim "Spike" Jamar and wife, Megan, of Hawley; sister, Vicki Bristow of Hawley; three nieces; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, at Hawley Church of Christ directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
