Stephanie Lynn Parsons Reynolds, 61 years of age of Knoxville, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 30, 2023, in Corsicana, Texas.
The visitation will be 1:00 PM, Saturday May 6, 2023, at The Hamil Family Funeral home in Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 6th at Elmwood Memorial Park.
Stephanie was born October 5, 1961, in Abilene, Texas to Dayland and Kay Parsons. She attended LBJ High School in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Pflugerville High School in 1980. She was an active member of Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin. Stephanie attended Texas A&M and finished her degree in Education at Concordia Lutheran College in Austin. Her professional career included the Texas State Health Department in Vital Statistics and Human Resources Management at BNFL Nuclear Exposal in Tennessee.
One of Stephanie's great interests was singing in various choirs. She was a member of the Sanctuary Choir at Hyde Park Baptist Church, The Texas A&M Women's Choral Society, and the Knoxville Tennessee Choral Society. She was also an avid sports fan. Stephanie loved cheering for her nieces and nephews and watching them play ball, watching ladies' college softball, holding season tickets to the Tennessee Lady Vols. Stephanie also loved the Dallas Cowboys and Emmitt Smith. However, she could talk about any sport and give you many trivia facts. While in Tennessee, she filled her free time working for The Smokies Triple A Minor baseball league.
Stephanie is survived by her parents Dayland and Kay Parsons of Abilene Texas; her brother and sister-in-law Kirk and Diane Parsons of Abilene; her sister and brother-in-law Connie and Jody Richards of Azle, Texas. The following list of precious nephews and nieces includes: Chance and Millie Parsons and great nephew Winston; Milo and Jennifer Parsons and great nephews Henrik, Hudson, and Hunter; Marshall and Shafer Thornhill, Catherine Fuller, Hannah Parsons, Joe & Emily Richards and great nephew Joseph; Reese & Kelly Richards and great nieces Lily and Riley Kay; Maddison Richards.
Memorials may be given to the Tennessee Knoxville Choral Society or the charity of your choice.
