Sharon Jean Elliott

Sharon Jean Elliott, 73, of Hawley, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Hawley. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Reid, officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Sharon was born on September 11, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to the late Eddie and Jean (Fabian) Goolsby. While living in Colorado, Sharon was employed with the Jefferson County School and the Ramada Inn. After moving to Hawley in 2000 from Golden, Colorado, she became the office manager at the Pine Street Salvage. Sharon is survived by one son, Paul Elliott of Hawley and one sister, Lynn McDowell of Midland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Abilene Animal Shelter, 925 S. 25th Street, Abilene, TX 79602.
