Sharon Bryant

Sharon Elizabeth Bryant, 78, of Potosi, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was born to Raymond and Peggy Hammitt on November 23, 1944 in Monahans, TX.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15 at the funeral home, with burial following at Potosi Cemetery.

Sharon graduated from Jal High School in Jal, NM. She worked as a nurse in Kermit, TX, then as a secretary at Faith Christian School in Abilene, and Stephenville Christian School. Outside of work, Sharon enjoyed painting landscapes and portraits, and she loved animals.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Bryant; daughters, Melanie Mobley (John Mark), Michele Bryant, Melissa Cortez (David), and Heather Brink (Richard); four grandchildren, Tiffany Young, Aron Weathermon, Jeremiah Cortez, and Jonah Cortez.
