Grandchildren Sarah Trevino and husband Cody of Wichita Falls, TX; Wesley Wood and wife Ginger of Abilene, TX; Kristi Bearden and husband Joe of Austin, TX; and Zachary Griffith and wife Sarah of Kelso, Washington. Great grandchildren Keeley and Avery Trevino, Ayden and Adley Wood, and Tripp and Kaleigh Bearden. Many, many, many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Liz loved God – she was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for more than 50 years.
She set out to snag herself a soldier after WWII. She met her goal and came back with her soul mate. Liz and Woodrow were married on September 15, 1949. The two were inseparable until his death in 2001.
Nana loved to work – on the farm, in the garden – anywhere she could get her hands dirty. She loved her flowers, animals (especially the ornery ones), and her family (and to her, that didn't just mean relations). Her back door was always open, and the table always had a spot for whatever extra person happened to be over at dinner time.
Nana, you are our sunshine, and we love you, love you, love you a bushel and a peck.
