Russell Howard Davis

Russell "Rusty" Davis, 58, of Abilene passed away on December 13th, 2017 in Abilene. Visitation / Memorial Service will be 6-8 P.M. Saturday December 16, 2017 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Rusty was born in Anson to James and Mary Frances Davis on March 21, 1959. He attended Abilene schools. He married Doddie Chambers on June 9, 1984 at Brownwood Lake. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Abilene. Rusty found his faith in God at Northside Baptist, as a child, and was a member at Caps Baptist Church. He loved fishing, and loved his grandbabies. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Frances Davis. Rusty is survived by his wife Doddie Davis; daughter Candise Davis; grandson Colton; granddaughter Alissa; 2 sisters, 1 brother; 1 niece, and 5 nephews.
