Ross Bradford

Ross Bradford, 74, passed away April 25, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the Ft. Phantom Baptist Church, 11343 FM 600 South, Abilene, with Mike Bradford and Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating. Burial will follow at the Hawley Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2006, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas. Ross Snow Bradford was born March 7, 1932, to James Buell Bradford and Iva Pearl (Price) Bradford, in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Hawley High School. Ross married Helen Wallace in Hawley. He was an Electrician and worked for Cosden Oil & Gas Company for 25 years. He was a member of the Ft. Phantom Baptist Church and a farmer all of his life. Survivors include his son Mike Bradford and wife Trina of Ft. Phantom, his daughter, Terri Thomas and husband Gaston of Ft. Phantom, his sister, Dorothy Elliott and husband, Red of Anson, Texas. Seven grandchildren: David, Heath, Malee, Colton, Leslie, Stormi and Keith and five great-grandchildren: Ashton, Tannier, Grayson, Kilynn & Gatlin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen Bradford. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Hirsch, Linda and the chemo gals.
