Rosa Greco

Rosa Greco, 83, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Abilene. Viewing will be on Sunday, January 14 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home chapel, with Father Ruben Covos officiating. March 7, 1923, Rosa was born in Naples, Italy to Carmine Iuliano and Giovanna (Vitagliano) Iuliano. She moved to Abilene in 1995 from Del Rio, Texas. Rosa loved children and playing cards. The Rose Park Senior Citizen's Center brought her much enjoyment when she attended. Rosa was a Catholic. Her husband, Ciro Greco, preceded her in death on September 6, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Rosa is survived by two sons, Carmine Greco of Del Rio, Texas and Anthony Greco of California; two daughters, Giulia Gallion of Abilene and Giovanna Constantini of California; one brother, Alessandro Iuliano of Italy; two sisters, Anna Breglia of Italy and Carmela also of Italy; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent in honor of Rosa Greco to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
