Ronald Glynn Martin, 69, of Breckenridge, TX, died May 2, 2018. He battled cancer on his own terms and truly did it "His Way."
Ron was born August 27, 1948 to James Morris Martin and Molly Francis Beasley Martin at St. Ann's Hospital in Abilene, TX. He spent his youth riding and performing tricks of "great feats" with his brother, Don, to amuse his family and friends.
Ron never met a stranger. On his travels as a coast to coast driver, he always had stories to tell. He played many a practical joke on his second wife, Karen, whom he married twice and was with him when he departed this world.
Ron leaves behind Karen Thomas Martin, the love of his life; daughter, Stacey Asbill (husband, James); daughter, Jama Lea Wiggins (husband, Billy); sister, Donna Sue Callan, (husband, Jack); brother, Donald; grandchildren, Shalayne Asbill Raish (husband, Chris), Colter Asbill, and Jared Asbill all from Abilene, TX, four nieces, two nephews, and a soon to be born granddaughter, Kailyn Lea Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy.
A special thank you to Dr. Kelli Windsor of Breckenridge, TX, Dr. Tommie Farrell of Abilene, TX, and Beyond Faith Hospice of Graham, TX for the loving care they gave Ron.
As per his wishes, there will be no service.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Beyond Faith Hospice of Graham, TX, or your favorite Charity.
