Ronald Reed LeCroix

Ronald Reed LeCroix, of Winters, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008 at the age of 54. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Burial will follow at a later date in California. September 21, 1953, Ronald was born in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated from Hayward High School in Hayward California and attended Chabot Junior College and Abilene Christian University. Ron moved to Winters, Texas from Roseville, California 2 ½ years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Ron was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Robert LeCroix, his birth mother, Kavanell Crowe McKee, his birth father, Joe Hale, and one brother, Robert Stephen LeCroix. He survived by his mother, Corinne LeCroix, of Roseville, California; four brothers, John McKee, Jeff Hale, David L. Hale, and Joe Hale; five sisters, Margaret Smith, Carolyn Gibson, Jo Jones, Glenna Bozeman, and Karrie Headrick; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made in Ron's honor to the donor's favorite charity.
