Ronald W. Blake, 67, of Abilene Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025 with family.
Visitation will be March 16, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Hamil Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday, March 17 2025 at the Hamil Family Funeral Home. Pastor David Cason, officiating.
Ron was born in Los Angeles California to Marian D. Blake and Donald G. Blake on April 28, 1957. He went to school in Torrance California where he graduated from North High School in 1975. He worked as a Master Tile Setter for 36 years and at Lowes Home Improvement for the last 2 years.
Ron was preceded in death by his Grandparents, and his mother and father Marian and Gene Blake and his older brother Richard Blake.
Ron is survived by his children, son Brian W. Blake of Washington, daughter Ronda G. Dimon (Blake) of Pennsylvania, daughter Ashley B. Blake of Texas, his Grandchildren Courtney Amann, Savannah Blake, Emery Blake, and his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Lori Blake of Texas
Ron was a man of unwavering faith and love, who lived his life with strength and integrity. He put the Lord and his family at the center of everything he did. Known for his warm heart and kind spirit, Ron never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
As a devoted father, son, and brother, Ron's love for his family knew no bounds. He was a pillar of support and a source of endless encouragement. His strong work ethic was evident in all his endeavors, and he approached every task with dedication and perseverance.
Ron’s patience and capacity for forgiveness were truly remarkable. He embodied kindness and grace, always willing to offer a helping hand or a comforting word. His presence brought joy and peace to those around him, and his legacy of compassion and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
