Robna Claire Moore Rinehart

Robna Claire Rinehart was born on February 19, 1931, in Knox County, Texas and passed from this life on May 14, 2013 in Weatherford, Texas after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. The only child of Robert and Ruth Nix Moore, she moved to Abilene in 1940 and graduated from Abilene High School in 1948. Robna married Walter Vernon Rinehart, Jr., on May 5, 1950 and had one son, Gregory Eugene Rinehart. The family resided in Abilene where Robna focused on Greg and his many activities. Robna and Walter were married for over 43 years and were members of the Slipper Club, XXV Club, Abilene County Club and Abilene Petroleum Club. An avid bridge player, Robna was a member of several groups, including the Abilene Oil Wives Club. Mrs. Rinehart was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son Greg Rinehart and his wife, Estee Gregory Rinehart, of Aledo, Texas; granddaughter, Shelby Taylor Rinehart attending the University of Arkansas; and grandson, Clayton Gregory Rinehart of Aledo, Texas. The family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful people at College Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford, Texas for their incredible care and support. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., in Abilene, with Bro. Jack Ridlehoover officiating.
