Robin DeLynn Johnson

Robin DeLynn Johnson, 48, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009, in Abilene, Texas. Robin was born in Artesia, New Mexico, on April 3, 1961, and moved from Artesia to Abilene twelve years ago. She was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include her father, Gilbert Orosco of Artesia, NM; mother, Katie Hefley Gunter and stepfather, Tommy Gunter, of Abilene; son, Chris Hensley of Amarillo; daughters, Dee Dee Wilson of Abilene and Crystal Dornan of Artesia, NM; brother, Micah Gunter of Gladewater, TX; five sisters, LiAnna Yount, Brandi Weathered and Jessie Knowles of Abilene, Shyla Kloss of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Angie Flores of Artesia, NM; and five grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 24, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. in The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, officiated by Rev. David Cason. Her body will be cremated.
