Robert Blake Tenison

Robert B. Tenison, 91, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on December 6, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Elliott-Hamil Gardens of Memories. Robert Tenison was born in Houston, Texas to Jack and Auban Tenison on January 26, 1924. He was a graduate of The University of Texas and worked as an Oil and Gas Producer for 70 years. He was married to Anna Jo Romans on November 11, 1949, until her death in June 1989. He then married Willie Mae Armstrong on October 3, 1992. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Robert Tenison was preceded in death by Anna Jo Tenison, and a son John Thomas Tenison. Robert is survived by his wife Willie Mae Tenison, sons Robert and spouse Sarah, William and spouse Barbara and daughter Susan Tenison. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and an extended step family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road Abilene.
