Robert Lee Hall

Robert Lee Hall, 76, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm today, November 20, 2007 at Ridgemont Baptist Church, 4857 Buffalo Gap Road, with Rev. Rudy Fambrough officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Robert was born May 15, 1931 to William Hall and Polly (Duncan) Hall. He grew up in West Frankfurt, Illinois. Robert served in the United States Air Force. He married Ramona Channel in 1951. They were married for 44 years, before she passed away in 1995. He later married Bobbie Edwards in Abilene, Texas. Robert served as a police officer for the Englewood Colorado Police Department for 34 years. He was also Chief of Police in Cody, Wyoming. Robert moved to Abilene five years ago from Colorado. He attended Ridgemont Baptist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Ramona Hall, in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Hall, of Abilene; one son, Robert Todd Hall; two daughters, Linda Childs and husband Doy, all of Littleton, Colorado, Kathleen Hall and her husband Chris, of Evergreen, Colorado; one stepson, Ted Keel and his wife Mary Jane, of Denver, Colorado; one brother, William Hall, of Abilene; three grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
