On September 4, 2018, Robert Lee Brown, III (BUSTER) left this world into the arms of Jesus Christ and was greeted by his mother and little sister.
Buster was born on January 19, 1963, in San Angelo, Texas to R. Lee and Rita Brown. Buster spent most of his early childhood in small towns close to Abilene; such as Wylie, Merkel and Tuscola. He thrived on leadership and “winning” whatever he pursued. Buster and his little sister entered livestock shows while attending Wylie High School and playing football. Again “winning” was his game. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 1986.
Buster was known as a natural leader. He currently was Chief Executive Officer at Bene Medical/Wellness Plus and most recently Akamai Executive Sales, President of Experis Executive Japan, CEO/President Dell Software Japan. Formerly was instrumental in building and serving in multiple executive roles at Platinum technology, Inc. and led the Japan and Korea operation of CA as CEO/President and Representative Director.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Cope Brown and his little sister, Michele Antoline.
While in Japan, he met the love his life, Shinobu and later was blessed with a precious little boy Kai. He has three incredible older children: Calvin and his wife Morgan Brown of Ft. Worth, Summer Gale Brown of Austin, Texas and Bodey Brown also in Austin, Texas. Father-in-law Takashi Shirai, Mother-in-law, Yuriko Shirai, brother-in-law, Yoshichika Shirai and his wife, Megumi Shirai all of Japan. Uncle Riley and Aunt Roberta Walker, Uncle Freddy and Aunt Sylvia (Baby) Beal, Uncle Bobby and Aunt Vickie Cope and Aunt Joy Cope Sankey. Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. So many friends. Such a loss…he was such a love to us all. You will be missed Buster.
