Robert “Bob” Bagley, 51, of Abilene died Friday, January 11, 2013 at a local medical center after a three-month, courageous fight with cancer.
The son of Patsy (Kelly) and William Henry Bagley, Bob was born on April 26, 1961 in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Abilene Cooper High School before attending college.
For 23 years he worked in automobile sales for Lawrence Hall. Bob was always one of the top producers, achieved Mark of Excellence for G.M., and was always tops in customer satisfaction.
Bob was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous with 15 years of sobriety.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, William Warren Bagley.
Bob is survived by his wife, Diane and stepson Robbie Van Steenburg of Abilene; mother, Patsy K. Bagley of Abilene; sister, Bronwyn Bagley of Odessa; niece, Rachel Hollowell of Dale, Texas; and aunt, Peggy Williams.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, with Rev. Jeff Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel.
