Robert Howell Anders

Bobby Anders, 63, died December 25, 2017 at his home in Abilene, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Todd Hooper of Southern Hills Church of Christ will officiate. Bobby was born on March 30, 1954 in Haskell, Texas to Norris and Mary Anders. He went to school in Rule, Texas and graduated from Rule High School. He married Sammie Oliver on May 19, 1973 in Rule. He was the owner of GreaseBusters, Inc. for 23 years. Bobby loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, and playing golf with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sarah Beth Anders. Bobby is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sammie Anders; sons, Andy Anders and wife Micayla of Abilene, and Kelly Anders of Avon, Colorado; grandchildren, Jacob and Avery Anders; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial may be made the donor's favorite charity.
