Rita Lou Borage

Rita L. Borage, age 74, died April 21, 2006, in Abilene, Texas. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas, with Father Fred Nawarskas, officiating. Rita Lou Borage was born September 15, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to Flavius Edwards and Clysta (Gill) Edwards. Rita graduated from Cleveland High School in St. Louis, Missouri and then attended Mrs. Hickey's Secretarial School. She moved to Abilene in 1988 from St. Louis. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, and a member of the Holy Family Gophers. Survivors include her husband, Clarence W. "Bill" Borage of Abilene, her mother, Clysta Edwards of St. Louis, Missouri, her son Clarence Daniel Borage and his wife, Stephanie of Aurora, Colorado, two grandchildren, Jason and Stacey, four brother-in-laws, Glennon, Richard, Ramon, and David Borage of St. Louis, Missouri, her sister, Jeanell Kniffen, and husband Murray of St. Louis, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. Her father, Flavius Edwards preceded her in death.
