Richard Andrew Lacroix

Richard “Andy” Lacroix, 81, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Abilene. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10th with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 11th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Richard was born January 27, 1935 to Albert & Helen Lacroix. He married Joan Weber on November 9, 1963 in New Haven, CT. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. A member of The American Legion. He loved bowling, was a member of Big Country Couples and several men’s leagues. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Walter Lacroix; nephew, Philip Meda. He is survived by his wife Joan Weber Lacroix of Abilene and several nieces & nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
