Rebeca "Becky" Hamilton Smith left this life to be with the Lord on April 7, 2017. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2017 with Tim Bench officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Becky was born on September 14, 1942 in Abilene, Texas. She was the eldest of Three Girls to T.L. Hamilton. Becky grew up on the outskirts of Abilene and attended Wylie School. She married Charles Mercer Smith on January 5, 2003 in Hawley, Texas. She managed Buffalo Gap RV Park and Smith Cabinetry. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and one son James Ray Staggs. Becky is survived by her husband Charlie Smith, son Shannon Staggs and wife Suzanne, son Jeff Staggs, daughter Sheila Spears and husband Troy and daughter Emily Seckler. Grandchildren Kayla and Kellye Underwood, Cameron Fulfer, Michael & Alexus Spears, Kane Seckler, Lachel Austin and great grandchildren Grayson & Gracie Austin. Honorary pallbearers are Randy White, Gary White & Gary McCall. Memorials may be given to Hendrick Hospice.
