Raymond Marsh

Raymond Marsh, 79, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Abilene. He was born July 19, 1943, in Abilene to Claude and Ora Marsh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 29 at North Park Baptist Church, with Joe Grizzle officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Any flowers for the family may be delievered directly to the church at 1525 Anson Ave., Abilene, TX 79601.

Raymond graduated from Abilene High in 1962, where he met his wife, Jackie Shepherd. They married on January 11, 1963 in Abilene. He was a deacon at North Park Baptist Church, and he worked as an automobile glass repair specialist at Abilene Glass & Mirror.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Raymond is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Jackie Marsh; sons, Jeffrey Marsh and Kelly Marsh (Jennifer); daughter, Kristi Cox (Dale); brother, Bobby Marsh, seven grandchildren and their spouses, one great-grandchild, his dog and best friend, Buddy Marsh, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
