Randall Allan Lepard

1952 — January 9, 2021

Randall Allan Lepard of Abilene left his earthly home and walked into the arms of Jesus on January 9, 2021. Randy was born in Minden, LA on November 13, 1952. He was blessed to be adopted by his loving parents, Bill and Deivah Lepard when he was five years old. Randy attended school in Anson, TX and graduated from Anson High School. He attended Hardin Simmons University, played saxophone in the Cowboy band, and then worked in the family business, Bill Lepard Oil Company. Randy married his high school sweetheart, Louann Spraberry on July 29, 1972. They have one daughter, Vanessa. Randy drove a million miles to make sure she had the best livestock to show and that she attended the events to best succeed in. He has many wonderful memories and friends from the stock show industry. Vanessa blessed them with a wonderful son-in-law, Allen, and two precious grandchildren, Hays & Bailey. They were his everything and he was their “Randad” and Bailey’s “Huckleberry.” His spare time was spent on the road watching them play football, baseball, softball, and spending time at the lake with them. He loved being Randad, not only to his grandkids but to the many teammates and families of those they played with. Randy was a Realtor at RE/MAX of Abilene. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Louann; daughter and son-in-law Vanessa and Allen McDonald; two grandchildren, Hays and Bailey, all of Bushland, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Jana Spraberry of Abilene and niece Katy Spraberry of Granbury, TX.
