Randal Leon Browne of Abilene, passed away of a sudden heart attack. He was 52 years old. Visitation will be at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, on Wednesday, January 31st from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 1 at Lawn Baptist Church in Lawn, with Pastor Mark Moore officiating. Burial time pending at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger. Randal was born April 13, 1965 in Ozona, Texas to Elna Ann Blassingame and Robert Leon Browne. Randal grew up in Sterling City working with Billy Blair, learning many construction skills. He married his childhood sweetheart, Sherri Drennan, on January 24, 1987. They recently celebrated 31 years together. Randal graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in 1987. His first professional job took him to the Dallas area for five years and then brought him to the Abilene area in 1992. He was an active member at Lawn Baptist Church and loved working mission projects with his church home friends. Randal enjoyed life! His passions were hunting, fishing, VW things and boating with his best friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elna Ann Blassingame Browne, and his nephew, Cody Wayne Browne. He is survived by his wife Sherri Lynn Drennan Browne, his children Cameron Lee Browne of Abilene, and Kaesey Lanae Browne of Lawn. His brother Michael Wayne Browne and wife Cyndy of Colorado City and niece Cady Kendrick, and many loving extended family members and friends. Pallbearers will be filled from the Lawn Baptist deacon body: Jerry Adams, Doug Jones, Keith Whitehurst, Rodney Davis, Rick Walker, Bob Stephens, Kirt Harle, Joel Terry, Clay Shott, and JW Allmond.
