Peggy Ruth Templeton

Peggy Ruth Templeton, 86, of Abilene, passed away on Friday, January 27th at a local hospital. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, January 29th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 30th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, with John Fanning & Bro. Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will follow at the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. Peggy was born in Fort Worth to George & Annie Elliott. She married Herbert Lee “H.L.” Templeton on April 11, 1959 in Tuscola. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2010. She worked for Citizens Bank and 1st State Bank of Tuscola for 31 years. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband & one brother G.W. Elliott, Jr. Peggy is survived by her daughter; Michelle Collier & husband Mike of Abilene. Sister-in-Law; Nell Elliott of Abilene. Grandson; Marc Collier and several other nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends. Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels or Wylie Baptist Church Building Fund.
