Peggy Seybold Pugh

Peggy Seybold Pugh, 88, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. Peggy was born June 25, 1927, the only child of Carl and Faye Dunn Seybold in Abilene, Texas. She attended Abilene Public schools and graduated from Abilene High School in 1944. She then went to work in the office of Dr. Virginia Boyd, and later worked in the office of Dr. Scott W. Hollis. Peggy also worked at Crump Cleaners. She married Ellis L. Pugh, Jr. December 23, 1944. They purchased Crump Cleaners in 1954 and together operated it as Key City Cleaner until 1992 when they retired. Ellis preceded her in death August 2, 1994. She is survived by her only child, Ronnie Pugh. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, in Elmwood Memorial Park with Dr. Phil Christopher officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, at the funeral home. Her family expresses special thanks to Dr. Gao and all of the caring staff at Care Inn of Abilene (now Willow Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center).
