Pearl Pilgreen

Pearl Joy Pilgreen went home to meet her Savior on January 18, 2025.

The visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Services will be at The Hamil Family Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Friday January 24, 2025. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Pearl was born in Merkel, Texas on July 22, 1933, to Ben F. Reynolds and Ida May Bunch Reynolds. Pearl was one of thirteen children. Pearl married Clifford Pilgreen on July 23, 1949. She had four children, Janice Kay Pilgreen, Joy Lynn Pilgreen, Greggory Steven Pilgreen, Barry Alan Pilgreen.

She is survived by one daughter, Joy Lynn Pipes of Tucson Arizona, two Sons, Greggory Steven Pilgreen of Tacoma Wahington and Barry Alan Pilgreen of Rule, Texas, Several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and daughter Janice Kay Pilgreen Bissing and twelve siblings, Myrtle Whisenhunt, Ben Reynolds Jr., Reba, Lawrence, Dorthy, Billy Ray, Earl, and Travis.

Pearl was a Member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church since 2001. Pearl retired as a LVN from Hendrick Medical Center in 1998. She worked there for 26 years. Pearl was a camper for many years. She belonged to the Early Bird Good Sam's and The Rainbow Travelers Camping Club. She was also a Prime Timer at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. Pearl kept Foster Children for 10 years, before becoming a nurse. Pearl was a member of The Love Sunday School Class at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
