Patrick Ryan Marquez

Patrick Ryan Marquez, 15, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 in Abilene. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, with Father Terry Brenon officiating. March 25, 1991, Patrick was born to Rosella (Ruiz) and Vincent Marquez in Abilene, Texas. He lived in Abilene all of his life. Patrick was a freshman student at Abilene High School. He enjoyed weight training and played paintball. Patrick was preceded in death by one uncle, John Arthur Marquez. He is survived by his mother, Rosella Marquez and her fiancé, Eric Gonzalez of Abilene; his father, Vincent Marquez, Sr. of Abilene; his brother, Vincent Marquez II and his wife Tracy of San Diego; his nephew and nieces, Noah, Jahlissah, Alexah Marquez of San Diego; his sister Ashlin Marquez of Abilene; maternal grandparents, Raul and Matilde Ruiz; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Emilia Marquez; aunts and uncles, Melinda and Larry Bartts of Abilene, Ester Pallarez of El Paso, Vance and Elva Marquez of Austin, Virginia Salsbury of Waco, Joe and Karen Marquez of Corpus Christi, Anita and Frank Bartek of Brownwood, Liz and Ken Sharp of Waco; his great-aunt Gloria Garcia of Abilene, and numerous cousins who love him and will miss him greatly. Patrick is finally at peace and living in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our thanks goes out to all those who have supported and loved Patrick throughout the years. He had wonderful memories of his friends, family, and teachers and we will cherish everyone's love, thoughts and prayers forever.
