Patricia Morgan Price

Patricia Ann Price, 87, died at her home in Abilene on Friday September 14. She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Sam and Myra Morgan. She married Jim Price in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they both graduated from Will Rogers High School and attended Tulsa University. Jim graduated as a petroleum engineer and began working for Schlumberger. This began their many moves through Oklahoma, Kansas, West Virginia, Ohio, and eventually Texas. Pat loved to play bridge and was a member of the Oil Wives bridge club and the Abilene Woman's Club. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Ed Morgan and Neil Morgan. She is survived by her children, daughter Terry Shira(Charlie), of Hamlin, son Bob Price of Austin, and daughter Tracy Wolfe(Richard) of Abilene. Also left to remember her are grandchildren Chas Shira of Coleman, Allison Shira Coil of College Station, Robert Wolfe of Abilene, and Kelsey Wolfe of Ft. Worth. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren. A Private family service will be held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Arrangements are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
