She married Dr. David Seth Ramsey Jr., DDS on March 16, 1968 in Abilene, Texas. Pat was a devoted housewife and mother for many years. She had two amazing sons who she loved and adored and who in turn put her on a pedestal, Dr. David Seth Ramsey III and Mr. Jason Ramsey. She was an active part of their lives throughout their childhood as being part of the PTA, assembled and drove carpools for many years. She was an active member of the community and her family. Pat was often times the strength behind her extended family providing support and care taking. She had a big heart and was the daughter, daughter-in-law, mother, mother-in-law and friend that could be called upon at any time just to talk to or lean on. Pat further embarked upon a career in interior design and owned "Pat Ramsey Interiors". In addition she went on to the banking industry where she was known and loved by the community until she met and married Mr. Kenneth G. Curry of Pennsylvania, in 2002. They were married for 10 glorious years and enjoyed many travels and new friendships along the way. They were active members of the Abilene and Fairway Oaks Country Club, where they were known by all staff and members as a bubbly couple that loved to dance. She was a member of the Slipper Club, Bible Study Fellowship, and the Abilene Junior League and she enjoyed each one extensively. She was a devoted grandmother and cherished every moment spent, from roasting marshmallows to doing puzzles with her grandson. She had no reservation to get on the floor and roll around with him, loving him to no end. She enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas for her family every year. She will be truly missed, especially during the holidays where she catered to her family and prepped for weeks. Patricia Carolyn Ramsey Curry was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands, Dr. David Ramsey Jr., and Mr. Kenneth G. Curry. Patricia Carolyn Ramsey Curry is survived by her children, Dr. David Seth Ramsey, III and wife Dr. Nadia Ramsey, of Houston, Mr. Jason Wayne Ramsey of Dallas, two brothers, Mr. Tommy Tucker of Oklahoma and Mr. Don Tucker of San Antonio, and one grandson, David Seth Ramsey, IV.
