Pamela Lynn Antilley, 69, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on June 22, 2017 at her home in Abilene, Texas.
Visitation-Memorial will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
Pam was born in Abilene, Texas to Joe and Mozelle Antilley on August 3, 1947. Pam was a graduate of Abilene Cooper High School. She continued her education at Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree. Pam also obtained her Masters of Range Science from Texas A&M University. Her jobs always centered around helping people. Pam retired from Betty Hardwick Center after 11 years of service. Her life also was filled with many pets because of her love of animals. Bird watching and knitting were just two of her favorite hobbies.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Mozelle Bagby Antilley.
Pam is survived by her father, Joe Antilley, and sister and brother-in-law, Don and Ginger Shahan. Her family included two nephews and one niece and many great nephews and great nieces: Brandon and Jennifer Shahan (Kaytlyn and Audrey) of Abilene, Texas; Dr. Eric and Kelli Hill (Noah, Gabe, and Leah Claire) of Keller, Texas; Ryan and Ashley Shahan (Ryley, Asher, Jax) of Katy, Texas.
Memorials may be given to Rescue the Animals. The family of Pam Antilley wishes to extend their sincere thanks for all the wonderful support of family and friends.
