Opal was born September 29, 1917 in Montague County, Texas to Pierson and Margaret Ann Hollingsworth. Abilene has been Opal's home for the past 20 years, moving from Coleman. She enjoyed her family and was always happy to help everyone. The fondest memory for the family was when she and John Guynes lived on the farm near Seagraves, Texas and her making wonderfully large family dinners.
