Nellie Lorene Price 83, of Potosi passed away on March 11, 2021 in Abilene.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 at First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Harlan Humiston officiating.  Burial will follow in the Potosi Cemetery under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Lorene was born January 19, 1938 in Rowden, TX to Joe and Nellie Burks.  She graduated from Wylie High School.  She married Dee Price on May 4, 1956 in Caps, TX.  She worked as a cotton grader for the USDA for 40 years.  She was known as a loving and selfless mom, meme, sister, aunt, and friend.

Lorene was preceded in death by her husband Dee, parents, and brothers, A.J., Billy Don, Oscar, and Charles Burks.

She is survived by her three sons, Hal Price, Randy Price and wife Debbie, and Derick Price and wife Lynn; seven brothers Carroll and wife Nancy, Wayne and wife Peli, Howard and wife Paula, Forrest and wife Loraine, Tommy and wife Karen, and Ricky and wife Kari; four sisters, Ludie Parks, Joan Pope and husband Joe, LeeAnn Burleson and husband Henry, Charlotte Watson and husband Leeland; eight grandchildren, Carl, Amanda, Jessie, Autumn, Ty, Chase, Kiersten, and Josh; and six great grandchildren, Tyler, Jazmen, Jaxson, Breylon, Mackenzye, and Charlee.

Memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1651 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
