Naomi Mercer Holtman

Naomi Mercer Holtman, 95, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at an Abilene nursing center. Born in Blue Springs, Texas on August 7, 1917, Naomi was the daughter of Mary (Maddox) and Will E. Weeks. She had been a personal banker for First National Bank for 20 years and Abilene National Bank for 15 years. She was a member of Fifth & Grape Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph B. Mercer and Randy B. Holtman; an infant daughter, Sandra Gale Mercer; a son, Gary Neal Mercer; her parents and one brother, Max Ray Weeks. Naomi is survived by her sister, Jeanne Hale of Abilene; three grandchildren, Shannon Neil Mercer, Pam Mercer Warner and Shawn Mercer; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, February 28, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. The graveside service will be private.
