Naomi Bratton

Naomi Bernice Clardy Bratton, 92, passed away Friday June 20, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. A graveside Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 28 at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road of Abilene, Texas. The minister will be Bro. Ronald Morgan of Springhill, Louisiana. She was a longtime member of Webb Chapel Baptist Church in Farmers Branch, Texas where Bro. Morgan served for many years. Naomi was born December 12, 1921 to James and Nannie Clardy in Centerpoint, Arkansas. She married Luther Bratton September 7, 1939. Preceding her in death were her husband, son, parents, sisters and brothers. Surviving are a grandson James Bratton and daughter-in-law Linda Bratton both of Abilene, her sister-in-law Mary Jo Clardy of Ft. Worth, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
