Nancy Louise Brehm, 60, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at a medical center in Abilene, Texas. Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the daughter of the late Dorothy Louise (Heck) and Raymond Narlee. She married Donald Mike Brehm on May 23, 1970 in Mercer, PA, and moved from San Antonio, Texas to Abilene thirteen years ago. She had been a test coordinator for Harcourt Brace Jovanivich for five years, and later worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for five years. Most recently, she owned "Mini Happy Returns Miniature Horse Farm". Nancy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Abilene. Nancy is survived by her husband, Mike Brehm of Abilene; daughters, Elizabeth Brehm of Abilene, and Amy Kippernes and husband, Stig, of Norway; and six grandchildren, Ashley Brehm, Shelby Brehm, Nancy Margaret Mae Brehm, Sarah Kippernes, Julia Kippernes and Thomas Kippernes. Survivors also include brothers, Roger Narlee of New Castle, PA, Ronnie Narlee of Warren, PA and Andrew Narlee of Mercer, PA, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2000, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Janice Six officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, Texas. Interment will be in Mercer Citizens Cemetery in Mercer, Pennsylvania following a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3rd. Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4515 South 14th St., Abilene, TX 79605.
