Nancy Elaine Beaird

Nancy Elaine Beaird, 45, of Abilene, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at a Saint Paul, Minnesota hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, with Dr. Don Greenway. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Born in Abilene, Texas, on December 17, 1963, Nancy was the daughter of Gladys L. (Newton) and Robert C. Beaird. She was a 1982 graduate of Cooper High School, and after receiving her college degree from Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, worked as a medical transcriptionist. She was also formerly employed by Abtex Beverage. Nancy was a member of North Side Baptist Church in Abilene. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Gladys Beaird, brother, Steve Beaird and his wife, Melissa, and two nephews, James Beaird and Greg Beaird all of Abilene, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
