Nadine Kute

Norma Nadine Kute, 88, passed away October 13th in Abilene, TX.

Visitation will be Monday October 17th 5:00 to 7:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday October 18th at Southwest Park Baptist Church 2901 S. 20th St. Abilene, TX 79605 with Brother Mike Woodard officiating.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park 5750 US-277 South Abilene, TX.  Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Nadine was born August 1st, 1934 in Winters Texas to Johnnie and Dessie Pierce.  She graduated from Winters High School and moved to Abilene to continue her education enrolling in Draughn's Business School.  While living with three of her girlfriends, Nadine met Tom Kute who was stationed at then, Abilene Airforce Base.  Tom and Nadine were the first couple to be married in the chapel at Dyess Air Force Base on April 14th, 1956.  They remained inseparable for 54 years.  Nadine retired from Cooper High School where she was the Attendance Clerk for many years.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband Tom Kute, brothers Johnnie (Jack), Varnell and Vollie Pierce.  Two sister-in-laws, Loretta and Alma Lou Pierce.

Nadine is survived by her sons, Tommy and wife Laura Kute, Tim and wife Gayle Kute and Terry and wife Nancy Kute.  Nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nadine's Grandsons and Great Grandsons.
